At Old South Outfitters Co., we work hard to process, pack, and ship your orders as quickly as possible. Below you’ll find everything you need to know about processing times, order updates, tracking information, and more.


Processing Time

Most in-stock orders are processed and shipped within 3–6 business days (Monday–Friday) unless otherwise noted in a product’s shipping description or in your order confirmation email.

Please note:

  • Estimated shipping times shown at checkout do not include processing time.
  • Orders placed after 2:00 PM EST begin processing the next business day.
  • Weekend orders (Saturday–Sunday) begin processing on Monday, excluding federal holidays.

Order Status

Immediately after placing your order, you will receive a confirmation email.

Inside that email, click the “View Order Status” button to see:

  • Real-time tracking
  • Current order status
  • Order summary
  • Delivery updates

You can also access your order status by clicking the chat widget on our website (bottom right corner) and entering your order number.

Order Status Definitions

  • Confirmed – Your order was received and is waiting to be processed.
  • Processing – Your order is being prepared for shipment.
  • Shipped – Your order has left our facility; tracking will update soon.
  • Delivered – The carrier has confirmed the package was delivered.

Before contacting support, please double-check:

  • The shipping ETA in the product description
  • The estimated delivery timeframe in your confirmation email

Some handmade/woodworking items may have extended processing times.


Order Changes

We process orders quickly to ensure fast delivery.
If your order has not started processing, we will do our best to accommodate:

  • Size changes
  • Color changes
  • Address updates
  • Order cancellations

Once your order has entered our processing queue, we cannot make changes except for:

  • Address corrections (if the shipment has not left the facility)
  • Order cancellations (only if it has not been picked or packed)

Please review all order information—especially your shipping address—before completing checkout.
If you notice an address error, contact us immediately with the corrected details.


Didn’t Receive Your Order?

If your tracking shows “Delivered” but the package is not at your location:

  • Check with neighbors or your front office
  • Look in alternate delivery areas (porch, mailbox, garage, gate, etc.)
  • Wait 24–48 hours — carriers sometimes mark packages delivered early
  • Contact the shipping carrier directly for the fastest updates

If the package has not arrived after these steps, reach out to our support team and we’ll help.
